Film Photography
A photojournalism professor of mine once said the best way to learn photography is through the medium of film. I came to it fairly late in my multimedia career, but still managed to teach myself a thing or two.

Most of this was taken either on a Nikon F3 (still works and shoots like a dream, forty years after development) or a Lomography experimental camera. I shoot manually on film. As a medium that forces you to slow down and think, before you waste $5.25 on a bullshit shot on Aerochrome, I find it's is the best time to do so.
